My name is Ms. Marquardt and I am the third grade teacher.  I received my degree from Bradley University and have been teaching for 18 years.  Throughout my career, I have taught many grades, but third grade remains my favorite.

As a Catholic school graduate myself, I am proud to be teaching in a Catholic school.

Math (3rd Grade): This week we will work on dividing shapes equally. The unit test is being planned for Tuesday, April 23.

Math (4th Grade): This week we will work on classifying shapes.

Reading: This week we will work on identifying point of view.

Language Arts: Students will work on suffixes. We will also write the final copies of our research papers on natural disasters.

Spelling: The pattern this week will be a review. The test will be on Friday, April 19.

Science: This week students will discuss how changes in the environment affect living things.

Social Studies: This week we will discuss English communities and begin working on a timeline project.
