Hello! My name is Paula Johnson and I am thrilled to be teaching second grade again this year! I received my B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and went on to earn my M.Ed. from DePaul University. I am so happy to be teaching in the same community in which I was raised.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my children and baking.

Reading–This week we are learning about point of view.

Math–This week we are practicing adding and subtracting lengths.

Religion–This week we are learning about the Liturgy of the Eucharist.

Spelling–We are currently practicing contractions and abbreviations.

Science— We are currently learning about states of matter.

Social Studies–This week we are studying community resources.
