Student Council

Saint Zachary School Student Council develops team-building and leadership skills in their members which can be used later in the community and workplace. This is exhibited when they work together to develop school activities and service projects, motivate their peers in school participation, and by becoming an interface between school administration, faculty, parents, and students.

Saint Zachary School Student Council is comprised of fourth through eighth grade students chosen to represent the student body.

Eighth grade members meet with the principal for approval of activities and then report back to the council.

The Student Council sponsors service projects which help the school, community, or other charitable organizations. Past projects have included canned food drives, baby bottles, no sew blankets, teddy bears for comfort, to name a few. The Council also plans some fun activities
such as theme days, and the all school picnic.

The Student Council currently meets twice monthly after school.
